Job Summary
Quality Staffing Inc. also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the areas top companies has a Greater Dalton GA based transportation client looking for an experienced OTR Dispatcher. If you thrive on adrenaline make quick decisions and have the ability to keep 18-wheelers rolling then this is a great opportunity! As a Weekend OTR Dispatcher you will be the unsung hero coordinating long-haul fleets tackling breakdowns like a boss and making sure drivers and customers never miss a beat! This wonderful opportunity with Quality Staffing starts at $40000/annually working Friday Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Upon the satisfactory completion of a temporary trial period with us a permanent hire by our client may result in a significant annual increase bringing the salary up to $50k-$55k.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Awareness of real-time driver locations using GPS and dispatch software providing timely updates to drivers on their routes and any changes.
- Monitoring of load status proactively addressing delays or issues.
- Collaborate with day shift dispatchers as well as resolution of previous night shift issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all communication and dispatch activities.
- Update customers as needed.
- Primary contact for breakdowns being the lead for resolving simple issues as well as the coordinator for complex issues involving maintenance and third parties.
- Repower loads with other drivers in the area.
- Responsibility for driver pay audit daily.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in OTR dispatch is required.
- Ability understanding and application of driver logs HOS and logistic mapping.
- Proficient in TMW Samsara and Spireon compliance.
- Reliability and consistency in attendance and responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain information confidentiality.
- Hours beyond schedule are required on occasion.
- Knowledge of TMW Samsara and Spireon are preferred but not required.
