Position Summary:
The Controller plays a critical leadership role in safeguarding the financial integrity and operational stability of the organization. Reporting to the COO this position oversees accounting operations financial reporting budgeting and internal controls to ensure accuracy compliance and fiscal discipline. The Controller provides timely financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making while maintaining strong governance and regulatory adherence.

What youll do:
- Lead the preparation analysis and presentation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP tax regulations and company policies while maintaining effective internal controls
- Oversee budgeting forecasting cash flow management and variance analysis to support business planning and operational performance
- Monitor revenue recognition practices distribution/vendor programs and working capital to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
- Identify and investigate financial anomalies inefficiencies and risks providing actionable recommendations to leadership
- Manage audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors financial institutions and regulatory agencies
- Support operational strategies through financial insight performance metrics and business modeling
- Mentor and supervise accounting staff fostering professional development and operational excellence
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes systems and reporting efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
What qualifications youll bring:
- 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- BS/BA degree required; Accounting Finance or Business preferred
- MBA CPA CGMA or prior public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
