Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an Assistant Design Manager (ADM) to join our Design Management team within the North America Places group. This position is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates with aspirations to grow into a Design Manager role through hands-on experience and professional development. The role sits within our Places Global Business Area (GBA) where we help shape smart safe and sustainable environments that enhance peoples lives. The work spans Industrial & Logistics (including intermodal terminals and data centers) Commercial Retail Residential Defense and Social Infrastructure (Arts Sports Healthcare and Education) developments.
This is an office-based position with flexible working hours designed to provide career development opportunities for ambitious individuals eager to grow within Arcadis.

Role accountabilities:
As an Assistant Design Manager with ouryou will work closely with experienced Design Managers and multidisciplinary teams to learn and contribute to the delivery of major projects. You will gain exposure to architectural and engineering design excellence while developing the skills necessary for advancing to more advanced roles. The Assistant Design Manager position provides an exciting opportunity to launch your career with Arcadis and work toward becoming a Design Manager by gaining hands-on experience and professional development.
Collaborating with internal architects engineers consultants and project managers to support strategic objectives and project progress.
Assisting in the coordination of design deliverables across multiple disciplines for complex projects.
Supporting client meetings and responding to inquiries under the guidance of senior team members.
Learning to implement best practices in design delivery including risk and change management project setup and planning using digital tools.
Preparing written reports client presentations and other deliverables while developing technical communication skills.
Supporting project management controls resource optimization and adherence to financial targets.
Assisting in the review of drawings designs and project scopes to develop execution plans.
This role offers hands-on experience while providing mentorship and training from seasoned professionals to help you advance toward your career goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Architecture Engineering or related fields focused on the built environment.
Eagerness to learn and work with project teams using digital platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and an interest in learning project scheduling tools.
Passion for sustainability and transformative solutions within urban or industrial environments.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $64800 - $97200. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
