Minimizing business impact of major incidents is critical to Volvo Cars as they are affecting the availability performance or security of critical IT services. They require urgent and coordinated action from multiple teams and stakeholders to restore normal service as quickly as possible.

As IT Operations Manager you ensure that we quickly and efficiently solve any major incidents that affect our operations at Volvo Cars the process and role is on corporate level. You ensure that relevant stakeholders get involved as well as facilitate effective resolutions by chairing the meetings and facilitating the bridge calls. You work with resolver teams ensuring correct resolutions and communicate with stakeholders and management teams on all levels within Volvo Cars.

What youll do

You are part of a highly motivated team that supports Volvo Cars globally within incident problem and change (ITIL) this role you interact with colleagues at factories in more than four different countries R&D corporate functions as well as the commercial side of the business. You are empowered to approve emergency changes on behalf of Volvo Cars.

Moreover to ensure robust and excellent operations and minimize business impact preventative analysis and activities will play a crucial part of the assignment. Your responsibilities as IT Operations Manager also include:

What youll bring

Lead Major Cybersecurity incidents in close collaboration with the Cybersecurity concerned resolver teams as business units
Performing retrospective/postmortem for efficient orchestration as continuous improvement.
Orchestrating the problem management process to solve cross-functional problems and proactively identify and eliminate the root causes of incident.
Proactive monitoring and analysis of incidents to minimize impact or to prevent major incidents from occurring.
You will use analytic skills AI and tools creating dashboards as analysis related to operations.
Robust and adapted change management process to secure continuous business operation.
Contributing to strategic improvements and process optimization of the incident problem and change processes.
Lead and orchestrate communication with executives
Act as change leader interacting will suppliers internal Digital organization as Business stakeholders to ensure efficient and qualitative e2e orchestration
Training and supporting stakeholders.

Salary Range:

New Jersey - $105525 to $175000
South Carolina - $93168 to $165000
Compensation is determined based on experience qualifications internal equity location and company guidelines
