Job Summary

We are currently partnering with a leading independent advisory firm in Sydney that is continuing to expand its presence across energy transition and infrastructure transactions.

The team advises a broad range of clients including developers sponsors infrastructure funds utilities and corporates on M&A capital raising and strategic advisory mandates. With strong deal flow and a growing pipeline of opportunities linked to decarbonisation and the energy transition the team is looking to add a high-calibre Analyst to support execution and client delivery

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team and gain exposure to complex high-profile transactions across sectors such as:

  • Renewable energy (solar wind battery storage)
  • Energy transition and decarbonisation strategies
  • Transport and core infrastructure assets
  • Utilities and regulated assets
  • You will work closely with senior bankers on end-to-end transaction execution gaining meaningful responsibility early in your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial modelling valuation analysis and transaction structuring
  • Preparation of pitch materials information memoranda and client presentations
  • Supporting due diligence processes and transaction execution
  • Conducting industry and market research across energy and infrastructure sectors
  • Assisting in the development of strategic advice for clients

Candidate Profile

We are seeking candidates with:

  • 23 years experience in investment banking corporate finance Big 4 advisory or a leading financial institution
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities
  • Demonstrated interest in energy transition and infrastructure sectors
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
  • Outstanding academic record from a leading university
