This post is 22.5 hours per week to be worked across 5 days 52 weeks per year.
The pro rata salary for this role is between 21023 - 28699 per annum.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Deliver high-quality academic support for A-Level students in line with College standards. Plan and deliver targeted intervention and catch-up sessions including workshops and 1:1 support assess student progress provide feedback maintain accurate records and ensure a safe inclusive learning environment that meets safeguarding equality and health & safety requirements.
2. Support the day-to-day delivery of study programme support activities including managing communication with curriculum teams student attendance and punctuality timetabling checks responding to emerging support needs intervention provision and liaison with departments such as Exams MIS and ALS to ensure smooth and consistent operations across campuses.
3. Assist with the recruitment selection and enrolment of students ensuring correct course placement managing transfers and late enrolments and contributing to the organisation and delivery of induction programmes where required.
4. Provide 1-1 support to individual students as required including regular progress reviews and SMART target setting provide UCAS and progression support and liaise with support services where needed to support both academic and pastoral development.
5. Monitor and report on attendance progress and achievement including engagement and academic performance. Ensure timely completion of registers maintain intervention and catch-up records track student performance and implement action plans where necessary to support retention and achievement.
6. Promote and support English and Maths provision within academic support sessions and through targeted intervention including developing students study skills revision techniques and exam preparation and monitoring attendance and progress in these areas.
7. Attend and contribute to staff meetings parents evenings progress reviews marketing events and internal/external meetings as required. Support the planning and coordination of key events and communication with parents/carers regarding student progress and next steps.
8. Work with colleagues to develop support strategies study skills resources and progression-focused materials. Engage in CPD and collaborative working with curriculum teams to enhance student outcomes.
9. Complete course-related admin including register keeping updating ProMonitor utilising reports and maintaining resources on the Colleges VLE ensuring accurate tracking of student support progress and engagement.
10. Take part in quality assurance processes including moderation standardisation course reviews and the Self-Assessment Review (SAR) supporting continuous improvement of student support provision.
11. Lead and support internal standardisation and consistency of academic support approaches across provision.
12. Monitor and act on SAR and quality improvement actions ensuring continuous enhancement of student support and progression outcomes.
13. Assist with daily coordination of support activities and resource planning including timetabling of intervention sessions and study support provision.
14. Ensure timely completion of any UCAS references and support progression applications liaising with HE institutions and external partners as required.
