Summary

As a Kitchen Steward (Dishwasher) youll help keep the heart of our resort humming! Youll be in charge of making sure dishes sparkle pots are scrubbed and the kitchen stays tidy helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Were looking for someone who can...

• Operate the dish machine to wash dishes glassware and utensils ensuring their correct storage.
• Hand wash pots pans and trays as needed.
• Keep the kitchen including floors mats and dishwashing area clean.
• Handle waste disposal including trash removal to the dumpster and maintain cleanliness around the kitchens exterior loading dock and dumpster area as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards by monitoring dish machine temperatures and practicing appropriate hygiene and food handling.
• Assist with the delivery and setup of the daily employee meal.

Qualifications

• Required No prior experience needed!
• Desirable Commercial kitchen experience is a plus
• Flexible work availability including weekends required
• WA Food Worker Card required within 14 days after hire

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Physical Demands. The employee is occasionally required to sit climb balance stoop or kneel. They must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close distance and peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work Environment. This role operates in a kitchen environment and involves routine use of sinks dishwashers and tools to clean kitchen appliances. Employees are frequently exposed to hot water slippery floors cleaning chemicals temperature variations and moderate noise levels.
