About This Role

This Inventory Clerk is responsible for improving the inventory accuracy within the Lewisburg TN Distribution Center working in tandem with the inventory control team. They will research inventory discrepancies that occur in the DC and determine the root cause. The Inventory Clerk will provide feedback to the Inventory Supervisor to aid in reducing the transactional errors within the DC. The schedule will be Monday Friday with weekend availability necessary for overtime.

Job Description

  • Assist in Physical Inventory execution

  • Assist Cycle Counters with 6S audit issues

  • Research and resolve transactional difference indicators from previous day

  • Research and locate items on Short Order report and apply posting changes as necessary

  • Perform Root cause analysis for cycle count discrepancies

  • Research stock discrepancies and resolve bin level inventory issues

  • Escalate plant level inventory adjustments to the Inventory Supervisor

  • Provide daily report out of actions & recommendations to the Inventory Supervisor using a provided template

  • Practice customer service when interacting with other companies and customers and ensure all parties receive a positive interaction within the company

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2 years of experience in inventory management

  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time during an 8 hour shift

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications MS Excel

  • Proficiency with SAP

  • Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Self-driven and proactive

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $35500.00 - $71500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include but are not limited to skills education experience and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives subject to plan requirements.
