SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The position requires fundamental knowledge of accounting functions and flexibility combined with accuracy and a sound practical approach. The role will support the costing and manufacturing activities at the Columbia & Memphis manufacturing site.

The Senior Cost Accountant will report into the Financial Controller Columbia/Memphis
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Reconciliation and calculation of inventory reserves
- Item/Cost Maintenance for Bills of Material and routings for new and existing component/finished goods assisting in the annual std cost update process.
- Assist in producing the monthly financial accounts package within 4 working days according to US GAAP rules and required internal reporting including manufacturing KPIs.
- Assist in the periodic forecasting process and annual budgeting.
- Work Order closing status analysis and investigation.
- Liaising between Purchasing / Receiving and accounts payable to resolve any issues.
- Support Operations Managers in the collation analysis and preparation of manufacturing reports and KPIs to aid decision making.
- Assist and support in the sites CI programs.
- Assisting in testing analysis and development of SOX controls and internal procedures.
- Other accounting duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant cost accounting experience within a manufacturing operation
- Experience with an ERP system is required experience with Oracle preferred
- Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a small team
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Salary Pay Range:
$81650.00 - $112700.00 USD SalaryOur salary ranges are determined by role level and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay employees may be eligible for bonus commission equity or other variable compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
