Community Facilitator will provide client-centered trauma-informed services to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. CommunityFacilitatorwill work alongside and collaborate with other ENH staff partners and families to provide direct services including informative workshops and training in areas such as violence prevention health & wellness parenting skills etc. Position includes providing case management and follow-ups.

The Full Time Community Facilitatorwill be a position in partnership with the Community Wellness and Support Services Department directly impacting the Little Village West Town Humboldt Park New City Garfield Park North Lawndale Belmont Cragin Albany Park and surrounding neighborhoods.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Provide administrative support task management and education to assigned interns.
  • Maintains and responds to workshop and referral inquiries (GBV-HT)
  • Responsible for case management for individuals who are in the program attend workshops community outreach events and walk-ins.
  • Responsible for creating programming promotional materials
  • Responsible for data collection program evaluation and timely reporting for assigned grants and Salesforce and Charity Tracker
  • Lead in the coordination development facilitation and evaluation of workshops and outreach events.
  • Attend community meetings to promote programming.
  • Create and maintain Gender Based Violence and Human Trafficking Information and resource handbook.
  • Plans and coordinates community outreach and other recruitment activities through the development and maintenance of partnerships and collaborations in the community.
  • Attend mandatory training per grantees and funders. Domestic Violence 40 Hours of training/sexual assault (Required)
  • Other duties as assigned



Qualifications
  • A Bachelors Degree in Social Work Psychology Sociology or related field preferred or currently in school obtaining such degree or equivalent work experience. Masters and LSW preferred.
  • Commitment to social justice and sensitivity to the assets and challenges of a diverse group of participants.
  • Must be able to travel
  • Must be flexible with schedule
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends
  • Background Check Required
  • Fluent Spanish Speaking Required
