Position Information:
The Assistant Coach plays a vital role in the athletic program by supporting the head coach in the technical and tactical development of student athletes. This position is dedicated to cultivating fundamental skill sets and a deep understanding of the sports rules while prioritizing a safe inclusive and high-performance environment. They are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for participants and fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity in their program. This position assists with a variety of program-related tasks and logistics. Assistant Coaches are required to complete professional development and continuing education. Performs related duties as assigned.
Season:Season runs 9/8/2026to 10/28/2026
2025-26Salary Schedule Range: $2902 - $3465 per season (or $19.74 to $23.57 per hour)

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or graduation equivalency diploma (GED).
- Be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong sport specific knowledge and understanding of the sport being coached
- Assistant coach experience or volunteer coach experience at the high school middle school or community level.
Experience working in a collaborative setting
