About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Controller/Comptroller to lead our financial operations and reporting functions. This role is ideal for a hands-on strategic finance professional with a strong background in mid-market organizations who can deliver accurate financial insights while driving process improvements and automation.

This position offers flexibility with both remote and hybrid work options depending on candidate preference and business needs.

Compensation

• $90000 $110000 annually based on experience and qualifications

What Youll Do

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger AP/AR payroll and financial reporting
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements by profit center
• Perform financial analysis to support business strategy and operational decisions
• Build and maintain advanced Excel-based financial models and reporting tools
• Identify inefficiencies and lead automation and process improvement initiatives
• Manage budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Partner with leadership to provide actionable financial insights

What Were Looking For

• 10 years of experience as a Controller in a mid-market company
• Proven experience producing financial statements by profit center
• Advanced Excel skills (modeling analysis reporting)
• Strong experience with automation and process improvements in finance
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Strong analytical organizational and communication skills

Nice to Have

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience with ERP systems and financial system implementations
• Background in a growing or multi-entity organization
