Job Summary
Due to the increased expansion ofthe Mackay area we need aFitter & Turner / Machinistwho hasCNC machine horizontal boring and lathe experience within the engineering industryto be part of the growth of this company.
About the Role
This is afull-timeshift work rolewith overtime available at an immaculate workshop with a great working culture. The opportunity for advancement and success within the workshop and beyond is possible for a dedicated machinist.
Your typical duties will include:
- CNC Turning
- Horizontal Boring
- Welding
About You
You have two or more years of experience in a similar role and a willingness to learn company processes. Youre looking forfull-timelong-term employment and come with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant trade qualification
- CNC machine horizontal boring and lathe experience
- Drivers license
Whats On Offer
- $36 to $43 per hour depending on experience
- Current 457/482 sponsorship is available
- Relocation assistance option
- PPE provided
