The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HSE Coordinator to join our team in Bayswater WA. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager you will play a key role in leading and supporting health safety and environmental initiatives across the site.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving safety culture ensuring compliance and continuously improving systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSE systems policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements
• Coordinate site training and competency requirements
• Lead and conduct risk assessments and maintain the site risk register
• Deliver safety training inductions and toolbox talks and drive safe work practices particularly for high-risk activities
• Support incident investigations near misses hazard reporting and corrective actions
• Coordinate and support internal and external HSE audits
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 14001 ISO 45001 ISO 9001)
• Monitor and report on HSE performance and data
• Support Return to Work processes and injury management
• Manage H&S Committee activities and contractor safety compliance
• Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example
• Collaborate with production leadership and support teams
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety (As a minimum)
• 2-3 years experience in HSEQ within a manufacturing environment
• Sound understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
• Strong knowledge of integrated management systems
• Experience in risk assessment incident investigation and return-to-work processes
• Excellent communication people and presentation abilities
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to influence engage and hold stakeholders accountable
• Self-motivated with a collaborative approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general systems
