A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join Montefiores Quality and Compliance this pivotal role youll support our commitment to excellence by driving quality initiatives ensuring compliance and helping shape the delivery of safe person-centred care.

Reporting to the General Manager of Quality and Compliance you will work collaboratively across departments to design implement engage with and monitor systems that enhance quality and safety for our residents. Youll be responsible for maintaining policies procedures and resources that align with best practice and regulatory requirements. Quality and Compliance Leads can also play a supportive role when required in developing and delivering targeted education in conjunction with our Clinical Governance Team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and facilitating internal and external audits
• Investigating complaints incidents or emerging trends and guiding responsive actions
• Providing guidance and support to colleagues who are managing or reporting incidents as part of the Serious Incident Response Scheme
• Reviewing quality activities and ensuring accurate reporting for the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program.
• Analysing quality and compliance data to help provide informed insights that support Continuous Improvement across the organisation
• Supporting the rollout of new systems and organisation-wide initiatives
• Contributing to committees and working groups mentoring colleagues and staying across aged care reforms to ensure safe compliant and person-centred services

About you:

Youre detail-oriented analytical and highly organised with very strong written and verbal communication skills. You enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders and thrive on using your clinical and quality expertise to make a meaningful impact. With a solid understanding of the quality improvement cycle youre confident in interpreting data preparing and presenting reports and influencing best practice outcomes.

Essential Criteria:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse Registration (AHPRA)
• Minimum 5 years post-registration clinical experience (desirable but not essential)
• Previous quality/auditing experience
• Previous experience in aged care
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to collect analyse and report on data
• Proficiency in computer systems and databases (intermediate to advanced)
• Willingness to travel across sites as required
