Position Overview

The Senior Compensation Analyst partners with business leaders People Culture and Finance to support the design administration and continuous improvement of compensation programs. This role combines analytical rigor with strong business partnership to deliver market-informed competitive and operationally sound compensation solutions. The ideal candidate brings experience in compensation analysis a consultative mindset and a strong ability to use data technology and AI-enabled tools to improve outcomes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders People Culture stakeholders and FP&A to provide guidance on compensation philosophy practices and pay decisions.

  • Conduct complex compensation analyses and financial modeling to support recommendations plan design and strategic pay decisions.

  • Lead market pricing benchmarking and competitive reviews to ensure compensation programs remain aligned to market practices and business needs.

  • Support the design implementation communication and ongoing administration of compensation programs policies and processes.

  • Administer compensation plans and payouts including validation audits and reconciliation of results to ensure accuracy and alignment with plan design.

  • Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline compensation workflows enhance offer support improve analytical efficiency and strengthen decision-making.

  • Prepare clear executive-ready materials and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes reporting governance and operational effectiveness.

  • Support annual compensation cycles and other key initiatives including merit planning market adjustments incentive administration and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of compensation experience.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • CCP or CSCP certification preferred.

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to build models analyze large datasets and present insights effectively.

  • Experience using AI tools and automation solutions to improve analysis workflow efficiency and compensation-related decision support.

  • Experience with compensation benchmarking and market data interpretation.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities work independently and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build credibility across stakeholders.

  • Experience with Workday preferred but not required.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA Boston MA Morristown NJ Plano TX St. Louis MO St. Petersburg FL and Hyderabad India. Base Salary Range

$95000.00 - $120650.00

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors including experience education qualifications as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package which may also include discretionary bonus plans commissions or other incentives depending on the role.
