Product Coordinator, Lystek (Cambridge, ON)
Job Summary
Lystek is seeking a Product Coordinator responsible for the coordination and execution of the LysteGro fertilizer marketing sales and application programs. The ideal candidate ensures consistency with company strategy commitments and goals. TheProduct Coordinator will advance the companys market position by delivering robust fertilizer sales programs and happy customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies processes andacting in a safe manner at all times.
Coordinate and dispatch necessary equipment and contractors for land application ofLysteGro.
Answer agricultural customers questions about product prices availability application timing and credit terms.
Complete field and product analysis to develop customized nutrient management plans for agricultural customers.
Seek out new product sales opportunities.
Prepare post-application reports and invoices.
Prepare and file application permits with regulating agencies.
Co-ordinate information for brochures fact sheets newsletters.
Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements.
Attend sales or trade meetings and shows or read related publications to obtain information about market conditions business trends environmental regulations or industry development.
Establish andmaintainrelationships with customers and constructive and cooperative working relationships andmaintainthem over time.
Assistand initiate Research and Development activitiespertaining toLysteGrofertilizer.
Assistwithdevelopmentof annual sales targets as part ofoverallbudget andanalysetargets against actual figures.
Performs other duties andtasks asassigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of theLystekbusiness.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Spend time in a variety of settings; in the field in an office and in plant be heavier during certain seasons.
Occasional travel isrequired.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong agricultural background required.
Professional designation as an Agrologist/Canadian Certified Crop Advisor is desirable.
Minimum 2yearsindustry experience isrequired.
3-5 years direct experience in a sales and distribution function is an asset.
Demonstrated ability tobuildingrelationships with new customers andenhancingexisting relationships to maximize sales and margin returns.
Strong communicationskills both written and verbal.
Experience delivering formal presentations in a work environment.
Organization and planning skills.
Problem analysis and resolution.
COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The expected salary range for this position is $50000 - $70000 annually. Placement within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
