As a Marketing Intern you will gain hands-on experience across multiple facets of marketing from product development insights to digital campaign execution.
Position Overview Were looking for a curious thoughtful and data-driven Marketing Intern to support our New Product Development (NPD) and Innovation this role youll help uncover insights that guide the creation of future Wondercide productsfrom early concept exploration to understanding how new products show up in the market. Youll also gain hands-on experience with internal frameworks such as our Opportunity Assessment process and consumer segmentation model. Youll contribute to scrappy fast-cycle insight gathering and help translate consumer and market signals into tangible product or brand opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct market and consumer research to support new product ideas and innovation initiatives
Analyze competitive products including positioning claims pricing packaging and benefits
Support pricing research by evaluating competitor and category price architectures
Research sales channels and go-to-market strategies (DTC retail e-commerce marketplaces specialty etc.)
Identify trends whitespace opportunities and unmet consumer needs within and beyond our category
Turn research into clear insights and recommendations for cross-functional partners
Assist with innovation brainstorming sessions and early concept development
Assist with consumer communications (go-to-market plans) to support product launches
Assist with ad hoc research and marketing projects related to product development
Support additional marketing and innovation projects as needed
Contribute to rapid lightweight research efforts including social listening Amazon reviews and chat analysis
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing Business Communications Economics or a related field
Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to connect dots and tell a story with data
Comfortable creating summaries and presentations using Google Slides/Docs/Sheets strong visual storytelling or design skills are a plus
Highly organized curious and proactive
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects
Interest in consumer behavior product innovation and mission-driven brands
Not afraid to dig into unstructured data and make sense of chaos quick learner with a flexible figure-it-out mindset
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with market research surveys or competitive benchmarking
Coursework in marketing strategy consumer insights or analytics
Passion for pets sustainability or natural products
Familiarity with innovation frameworks or early-stage product development
