Were looking for a Staff Data Scientist to help power the intelligence behind Assureds platform. You will work closely with product managers engineers and claims domain experts to build machine learning systems that automate key parts of the claims lifecycle. This is a high-impact technical leadership role focused on building models that improve decision-making automation and operational efficiency.

You will

Design models and systems that help automate and optimize claims handling including; Liability prediction Fraud detection Document & image understanding.

Partner with product and engineering teams to translate claims workflows into ML solutions

Prototype production-ready models and data pipelines

Dive deep on early stage products to scale product market fit

Help shape the data science roadmap and architecture across Assureds platform

You have

Experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer with a focus on data science machine learning or applied AI

Experience deploying production ML systems

Strong skills in: Python SQL ML frameworks (PyTorch TensorFlow XGBoost etc.) and modern data platforms (Snowflake Spark etc.)

Experience working with structured and unstructured data

Ability to translate real-world business problems into ML solutions

Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams

Experience building decision systems or automation platforms
