Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based preschool position in New Gloucester Maine. This role supports students ages 35 focusing on early communication development and school readiness.
We welcome both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP / CFY) who are passionate about early childhood preschool and pediatric speech therapy.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities
- Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to preschool students (ages 35)
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and early childhood assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
- Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
- Support students with:
- Early expressive and receptive language development
- Play-based communication and social interaction
- Early speech sound production and articulation
- Social/pragmatic communication skills
- Use play-based developmentally appropriate therapy approaches
- Collaborate with teachers special education staff occupational therapists (OTs) and physical therapists (PTs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation progress notes and compliance records
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
- Active Maine SLP license (or eligibility)
- Experience or interest in early childhood preschool pediatrics or school-based therapy preferred
- Strong communication organization and collaboration skills
