This role is open to both bilingual (French/English) and non-bilingual roles will fill existing technical objections raised in Examiners reports draft suggestions to overcome the objections and report to clientsFile responses to office actions including revision of application and all relevant follow through correspondencesFile extension of time requests with CIPO related to examinationOther duties may be assigned or amended as requiredQualifications competencies and Administration Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma or relevant combination of education and work experience2 years of relevant Trademark experience in an office or law firm environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to deal directly with clientsExcellent attention to detail and is highly organized and proactiveExperience using MS Office and has the ability to learn new software quicklyAbility to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work base salary for this role will be positioned between $63000 - $77000 taking into consideration factors such as location job-related knowledge prior experience qualifications and internal equity.--Our recruitment process uses AI-enabled tools to assist with the assessment of applications based on job-related criteria.
