Job Summary

SAP Basis & HANA Administrator S/4HANA

Location: Toronto ON

Work Style: Hybrid (2 days per week in-person at Toronto office)

Skills: Database Administration (DBMS) Digital : SAP BASIS - HANA

Experience Required: 6-8 Years

Role Requirements

SAP Basis & Database Administration:

Successfully managed 9 years of experience in SAP BASIS and HANA DB administration.

Executed System copy for Oracle/HANA Database SAP Client copies and environment refreshes (restoring one env. to another env.) end-to-end.

High Availability & Monitoring:

Possess Hands-on experience in working with SAP system HANA Database in HA environment (Suse pacemaker cluster) including configuration monitoring failover testing and administration.

Performing daily health checks and Monitoring for system performance and stability.

System Upgrades & Patching:

Hands-on experience in all phases of SAP Upgrades (e.g. Kernel Support pack) Installation and Security Patching.

Applying notes based on the solution received and managing system Startup/Shutdown procedures.

Support Modernization Detailed Job Description: Design develop and maintain applications built on IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) to support core payments processing. Contribute to the development of payment flows supporting transaction processing. Build and support integrations between FTM and upstream/downstream systems using enterprise integration patterns. Participate in the design development testing deployment and production support. Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues in a complex regulated environment. Collaborate with architecture QA and operations teams to ensure platform stability scalability and performance. Support modernization initiatives and enhancements to existing payment hub capabilities. Produce clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
