Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright)

Principal Accountabilities:

• Install dismantle relocate and set up machinery and heavy equipment in accordance with layout plans blueprints and schematics
• Perform precision alignment of motors pumps gearboxes and other rotating equipment using laser alignment tools or dial indicators
• Inspect maintain and repair mechanical systems including conveyors hydraulic systems gearboxes and bearings
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct root cause analysis to minimize downtime and prevent recurrence
• Fabricate modify or repair components as needed using welding machining and various hand and power tools
• Collaborate with electricians welders and other maintenance personnel on cross-functional repairs installations and improvement projects
• Maintain accurate and timely records of work performed parts used and equipment status in SAP or other CMMS platforms
• Adhere to all safety protocols lockout/tagout procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust loud noise etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) and confined spaces
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 50lbs. kneeling climbing crawling and twisting with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work overtime including weekends holidays or different shifts with advance notice
• Minimum of 35 years of experience working as a Mechanic or Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in rotating equipment hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings blueprints schematics and technical manuals
• Skilled in the safe and effective use of hand tools power tools and precision measuring instruments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Laser alignment experience or certification
• Welding and fabrication skills including MIG TIG and Stick welding
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls
