Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional non-functional and compliance requirements and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to support and evolve a mix of Framework applications and solutions. This role spans the full application stack including UI using Razor middleware and RESTful services and backend data solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.

This position also embraces AI assisted development practices using tools such as GitHub Copilot and modern AI models to accelerate understanding of existing codebases improve developer productivity and assist with the design and implementation of new features.

Responsibilities:

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Designs develops and modifies architecture components application interfaces and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
• Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
• Executes story refinement definition of requirements and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• Automates manual release activities
• UI / Presentation Layer ( & Razor)
• Design develop and maintain user interfaces using (MVC / Razor Pages) including support for legacy UI implementations.
• Enhance and modernize existing Razor based UI while maintaining stability and usability.
• Integrate UI components with backend REST APIs and middleware services.
• Middleware / Services Layer
• Design develop and maintain RESTful APIs and middleware services using C#.
• Design and maintain backend data solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Help establish best practices for responsible and effective AI usage within the development team.
• Identify technical debt and recommend pragmatic improvement strategies.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience full stack development.
• Strong expertise with C# and development in Visual Studio.
• Handson experience supporting Framework applications.
• Experience building applications with (.NET Core / .NET 6).
• Strong experience with UI using Razor (MVC or Razor Pages).
• Solid experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server including query tuning.
• Experience with layered / multitier application architectures.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience modernizing or migrating applications Framework to .
• Familiarity with Entity Framework / EF Core Dapper or similar data access technologies.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot Visual Studio AI features or other AI coding assistants.
• Authentication and authorization (OAuth2 OpenID Connect JWT).
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Azure or other cloud platform experience.
• JavaScript CSS or frontend tooling to support Razor UI work.
