ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST OVERVIEW:
Elevate is looking for an Accounting Specialist to perform day-to-day transactional accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable and other related reconciliations. This role will play a key part in ensuring tha accuracy and integrity of financial records.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process vendor invoices with accurate coding and proper documentation
Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
Enter invoices into accounting system and route for approval
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries
Generate and send customer invoices based on orders and contracts
Apply customer payments (ACH check credit card) and maintain accurate AR data
Monitor aging report and follow up on overdue accounts
Communicate with customers to resolve billing issues or payment delays
Maintain organized financial records for internal reviews and audits

QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education and/or Experience

Minimum 4 years experience in full cycle AP and AR
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Bachelors degree preferred

B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Proficiency with NetSuite
High attention to detail and accuracy to manage multiple priorities
Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
Communicate orally and in writing in a clear concise and impartial manner
Ability to work independently

WORKING CONDITIONS

Travel Requirements: Very infrequent travel
