This role involves performing clinical and diagnostic procedures assisting with patient care maintaining equipment and ensuring efficient workflow while delivering high-quality patient service.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support & Patient Care
Perform preliminary eye exams including visual field ocular motility and color vision testing
Conduct pupil assessments and pharmacological testing
Perform tonometry and related diagnostic procedures
Collect and document patient medical history
Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures
Educate patients and families on procedures and treatment plans
Patient Flow & Coordination
Manage patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations
Coordinate appointments imaging lab tests and outpatient procedures
Assist with scheduling surgeries and hospital admissions
