Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) with acute care experience to join a short-term acute care hospital setting. The OT will provide high-quality patient-centered care for inpatient populations while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. This role may also require floating across units based on departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic interventions for inpatient caseloads (810 patients per day)
Collaborate with physicians nurses and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Document evaluations treatment progress and care plans using Epic EMR
Float between hospital units as needed to support patient care delivery
Participate in a rotating weekend schedule every 4 weeks with compensatory time off
Adhere to hospital policies clinical guidelines and regulatory standards
Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain best practices in acute care therapy
Requirements
Active Washington State Occupational Therapist License (required in hand)
Prior acute care experience required (inpatient rehab experience preferred)
Strong clinical reasoning communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic caseload
Collaborative mindset for effective interdisciplinary teamwork
Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced hospital environment
