Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a high-acuity Trauma Level II environment. This role requires hands-on experience in neuro-interventional and stroke procedures within a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate is adaptable detail-oriented and comfortable handling both scheduled and emergency cases.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures including neuro vascular and general IR cases
Operate imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic results
Monitor patients before during and after procedures
Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control protocols
Administer contrast media and assist with procedural sedation
Respond to emergency call cases within required timeframes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in trauma and stroke care
Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
Follow radiation safety guidelines and departmental standards
Required Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
ARRT Certification (required)
Active Texas MRT License or eligibility
BLS Certification (AHA required)
25 years of Interventional Radiology experience
Hands-on experience in Neuro IR and stroke cases (required)
Experience in a Trauma Level II or high-acuity setting
Ability to take frequent on-call shifts with a 30-minute response time
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a comprehensive stroke center
Strong background in vascular and neuro-interventional procedures
ACLS Certification (preferred)
Strong critical thinking communication and teamwork skills
