You will be joining at TransPerfect AI Research:

The TransPerfect AI Researchteam (formerly Unbabel AI Research) has been a vital part of the companys success since its formation over 10 years ago delivering state-of-the-art award-winning AItechnology for machine translation quality estimation and language modeling including the COMET and TowerLLMseries of models. This technology has been incorporated in products and services that have drastically simplified the lives of our clients and colleagues from workflow improvements for colleagues to core services that form the basis of the companys GlobalLink platform.

The minimum were looking for (show us what you got if you arent a perfect fit):

• PhD degree in Computer Science Electrical and Computer Engineering Artificial IntelligenceData Science or related field ORMSc degree in these areas and 4 years ofexperience inindustry.

• 4 years of experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques and tools.

• 5 years of experience programming with Pythonand/or similar software development environments.

• Experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch Huggingface Transformers Megatron Nemo or equivalent.

• Have a critical mindset to assess alternative approaches and evaluate potential research problems.

• Be goal-oriented and capable of breaking research problems into milestones.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Plus: Track record of publications in top NLP and ML conferences.

Your responsibilities and tasks will include:

• Conducting and leading novel research that advances the state-of-the-art inMachine Translation Quality Estimation Multilingual Large Language Modelsand Natural Language Processing

• Implement code for training fine-tuningtesting and evaluating models

• Playing an active role in the NLP and ML research communities

• Coordinating and working with our other TransPerfectteams to understand and develop technology-based solutions to key challenges of the business.
