THE POSITION

PACE LLC is currently seeking an Acquisition Analyst (Advanced) for a full-time position. The Acquisition Analyst (Advanced) will provide a full range of procurement and contracting services in support of the customers acquisition activities. This position supports the PACE LLC government contracting client which is a United States federal agency.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Experience directly supporting major defense acquisition program(s) or comparable commercial operations as an acquisition subject matter expert/program analyst
• Experience providing strategic advice to program executive officers and senior acquisition officials on acquisition pathway selection tailoring strategies and risk mitigation
• Experience navigating complexities of the Defense Acquisition System and providing authoritative advice to senior leadership
• Experience working with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and emerging acquisition reform initiatives
• 5 years experience in Major Systems Program Management for DoD or 5 years commercial experience in a program integration environment providing strategic level analysis
• Familiar with DoD5000 series acquisitions
• Direct experience working within a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) or Major Automated Information System (MAIS)
• Agile acquisition strategy development experience
• Commercial Solutions Opening experience a big plus
• Experience and knowledge of other transaction authority
• Experience preparing detailed acquisition strategies for major defense programs
• Experience reviewing processing and formulating general strategy products

CERTIFICATIONS

• DAWIA Certification Level III in Program Management Contracting or equivalent preferred.

EDUCATION

• Bachelors degree with 10 years major program experience.

LOCATION

• Huntsville AL on-site

CITIZENSHIP & CLEARANCE

• This position would require US Citizenship and a TS clearance or ability to hold a TS clearance.
