The Multifamily Housing Finance Practice Group represents lenders active in the multifamily housing industry closing loans secured by multifamily projects and delivering those loans to secondary market investors such as Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. The Administrative Clerk is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the practice groups Post Closing Team by handling tasks/projects that support the team and attorneys in delivering loans to secondary market investors. This is not a hybrid role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of delivery packages of final loan documents in accordance with the precise requirements of Freddie Mac Fannie Mae and appropriate lenders.
Print photocopy and scan documents within tight deadlines in a high volume and fast paced environment.
Prepare PDF document packages using Adobe Standard and Nuance.
Upload required closing documents to both internal and external systems.
Provide administrative support to other team members in the department on an as needed basis.
Assist in fostering an environment of superior customer service by working collaboratively with attorneys and staff at all levels.
Perform a broad range of routine administrative and clerical tasks.
Provide additional administrative support and back-up support for the LPA Team as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in a deadline driven environment.
Can do attitude and initiative to assist on a variety of projects within a team environment.
Ability to juggle competing priorities and organize a high volume of materials paying close attention to detail.
Able to communicate effectively with attorneys staff and clients including verbally and in writing with strong proofreading skills.
Flexibility to manage demands outside of traditional business hours.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors degree and/or any combination of experience education or training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an administrative support role.
