Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliableJunior Social Media Assistantto support our day-to-day social media efforts. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys social media is creative and is looking to gain hands-on experience in content posting and basic digital engagement. This position focuses on assisting with content execution rather than strategy development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with posting content across social media platforms (e.g. Instagram Facebook etc.)
- Capture basic photos and short videos during programs events or activities
- Ensure posts follow brand guidelines and are appropriate for the audience
- Support simple content creation such as captions graphics or short clips
- Assist with other related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Basic familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram Facebook)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable punctual and able to follow direction
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos/videos
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Prior experience is a plus but not required
Preferred
- Basic knowledge of apps like Canva or similar tools
- Interest in marketing communications or media
