We are an in-office company and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

About the role

At Applied Intuition you will:

• Own end-to-end field deployment of Applieds product lines at customer sites leading integrations of systems from initial setup through steady-state operations
• Partner with customer operations leadership and frontline teams (control room field ops maintenance etc) to establish clear roles decision paths and day-to-day operating procedures
• Drive safe operational readiness by translating safety philosophy and non-negotiable critical controls into site procedures training and go/no-go criteria
• Act as the technical escalation point on-site: triage issues collect logs/telemetry reproduce problems and prioritize fixes with the broader engineering team while keeping customers unblocked
• Monitor deployment health and performance (uptime throughput latency intervention rates) then drive continuous improvement with the customer internal engineering teams and applied leadership

Were looking for someone who has:

• 3 years of experience supporting technology deployed on heavy equipment construction machinery mining trucks or similar off-road vehicles
• Prior experience working in the mining/construction industry
• Hands-on experience with field installations including wiring harnesses sensors ECUs power systems and vehicle interfaces
• Experience deploying and supporting software systems in production or customer environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware software electrical and networking domains
• Comfortable working in active construction or industrial environments
• Ability to work independently own outcomes and make sound technical decisions in the field
• Strong communication skills and comfort acting as the primary customer-facing engineer
• Willingness to be based on-site in Louisiana for extended periods

Nice to have:

• Background in electrical engineering mechanical engineering robotics or related technical fields
• Prior work in autonomous vehicle development domains
• Familiarity with CAN Ethernet vehicle diagnostics and logging tools
• Experience working with Linux-based systems in the field

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary equity and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units comprehensive health dental vision life and disability insurance coverage 401k retirement benefits with employer match learning and wellness stipends and paid time off. Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience credentials & certifications educational attainment skill level requirements interview performance and the level and scope of the position.
