This position does not createorown campaigns; it providesend-to-end ownership ofthe storytelling content development processincludingfieldstory sourcing drafting tactical messagingproducingmulti-format storiesbuilding campaign decks and event briefs and coordinating storytelling needs across teams to ensure a strong consistent flow of compellingcontent.

- Work with theVPMarComm&Senior Manager of Digital Marketing to buildandmaintainacontinuous storytelling pipelinethat highlights clients partners volunteers programs and community impact.
- Sourcestoriesfrom the fieldviainterviews site visits conversations and cross-team relationships (30% field time).
- Translatemessaging directioninto clear emotionally resonantcontentfor campaigns eventsandpartneractivations.
- Maintaina story libraryandmaster storyboard.
- Communicate story availability updatesand sourcing needs to internal partners for alignment and visibility.
ContentDevelopment&AssetCreation â20%ââ
- Builddecks briefsmultimediastory packages and narrative toolkitssupporting events fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
- Drafttactical messagingfor events and partner activations.
- Developmulti-formatstoriesincludingwritten recaps videointerviews and campaign-ready content forwebemailnewslettersandpaid media.
- Collaborate withcreativepartners to create visual storytelling assets.
- Providelight paid media support(clipping/editing/adapting short-formvideocontent) for acquisition and fundraising campaigns.
Cross-Team Coordination &ActivationSupport 10%
- Partner withEngagement Programs AdvocacyMarketingand Communications to gather inputsidentifystorytelling opportunities and align on activation needs.
- Coordinate story-driven content for events community activations and campaigns.
- Facilitate regular storytelling andevent marketing check-ins.
- Provideeventmarketingsupport:messaging development project team participationevent decks and collaboration with vendors to ensure narrative alignment.
- Supporton-siteeventstorytelling(signage messaging framing).
Operational Story Systems10%
- Maintain organizedsystemsfor story collection storage tagging permissions and future use.
- Keep templates brief formats and narrativetoolsupdated for annual and recurring campaigns.
- Support improvements to cross-team storytellingworkflowscontent processes and documentation.
- Work with the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing todraftandmaintainthemarketingcalendarfor all activations campaigns themed months and cross-team initiatives.
- 46 yearsin storytelling content development journalism communications or related fields.
- Strong interviewing and story-gathering skillswith deep empathy andrespect for community voices.
- Exceptional writing ability; able to craft concise emotional narrative-driven stories.
- Experience building decks and synthesizing complex ideas into accessible compelling content.
- Strong project and workflow management skills; able to coordinate across many teams.
- Familiarity with nonprofit mission-driven or social impact environments.
- Ability to uphold and work withinestablished brand voiceand messaging frameworks.
- Curiosity creativity and deep knowledge of NYC culture and community dynamics.
- Ability to travel to FBNYC event and operational locations as needed.
- Spanishor multilingual language skills
- Photographyor basicvideo capture/editingskills
- Experience withWordPressHubSpot Teams or similar workflow tools
- Familiarity with impact storytellingfield interviewing or human-interest narrative writing
The salary range for this role is $90000 - $100000 annually.
