Your Career
The Account Executive plays a key role in driving revenue growth by converting warm high-quality opportunities within Federated Wirelesss existing customer ecosystem. This is an inside sales-focused role centered on engaging inbound interest expanding current relationships and closing new product opportunitiesnot cold outbound prospecting.
You will partner directly with Engineering Product and leadership to bring innovative software-driven solutions to market. With access to strong technical support youll quickly build product knowledge and credibility while focusing on what matters most: moving deals forward and closing business.
Federated Wireless is actively evolving its product suite to incorporate AI-driven capabilities across spectrum management network optimization and data this role youll gain direct exposure to these emerging solutionslearning how AI is being applied in real-world environments and helping customers adopt next-generation software-defined technologies.
This role is ideal for a motivated self-starting seller looking for clear and accelerated career progression. High performers will quickly earn increased ownership larger deal responsibility and a path into more senior Account Executive roles.
Your Impact
- Own and close sales opportunities within an existing base of customers and warm leads
- Engage inbound interest and ecosystem-driven opportunities
- Identify and drive expansion opportunities across existing accounts
- Lead discovery conversations to understand customer needs and align solutions
- Move deals efficiently through the sales cycle from qualification to close
- Partner with Product for demos and technical validation
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing to refine messaging and go-to-market approach
- Maintain a accurate pipeline in CRM (forecasting activity tracking deal progression)
- Deliver a responsive high-quality customer experience throughout the sales process
Your Experience
Required:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 35 years of experience in software or technology sales (SaaS preferred)
- Proven ability to manage and close deals especially within existing or warm customer relationships
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex solutions for customers
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive outcomes
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving environment with some ambiguity
Preferred:
- Experience in inside sales or account management roles
- Exposure to technical or software-based products
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot Salesforce)
- Interest in emerging technologies including AI-driven solutions

Schedule
Standard business hours with flexibility to support customer needs.
Location
Onsite in our Arlington VA office 5 days per week.
Travel Requirement
Up to 25% travel for customer meetings and events.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting in either an open-plan office with potential for consistent noise and interruptions or in a private office. Conditions are usually standard office lighting and moderate temperature ranges.
Physical Demands
Sitting for prolonged periods of time; driving and ability to travel by air vehicle or rail; pushing pulling bending and lifting up to 15 lbs.

Compensation
The on-target earnings for this full-time position ranges from $115000 to $130000 with a base salary range of $75000 to $85000 and may be eligible for incentive compensation equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range Federated Wireless considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience education/training key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
