We are seeking a skilled and motivated Colorectal Surgery Nurse Practitioner or PA-C to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be a foundational member of a specialty team and play a central role in advanced surgical care within MultiCare Cancer Institute.

Position Highlights

Position Summary
MultiCare Health System is seeking a Colorectal Surgical Oncology Physician Assistant to join our well-established thriving and comprehensive practice. Here youll find everything you need to excel in your job including outstanding facilities comprehensive resources and talented teammates in partnering for healing and a healthy future.Practicing within a National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC)-accredited program youll work alongside colorectal surgeons and oncology teams to deliver personalized evidence-based and compassionate assist in surgical procedures and provide perioperative care. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including histories and physical surgical oncologists in both inpatient and outpatient settings contributing to improved access continuity and outcomes for oncology call for practice and ER as needed for the manages hospital-based care and specialized training or practice focused on surgical oncology colorectal training and implement treatment plans in collaboration with colorectal surgical interpret and follow up on diagnostic tests and patient care with other RN and MAs in the treatment of surgical patients. Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses procedures and in tumor boards care conferences and quality improvement all patient interactions and clinical decisions in the electronic medical record (EMR).Stay current with best practices emerging therapies and clinical guidelines through continuing education and training. RequirementsGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant ProgramWashington State Physician Assistant license by the time of employmentDEA NPI & prescriptive authority Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package including competitive salary medical dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $190270.00 - $195464.00 USD. However pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants including but not limited to: skill set level of experience and certification(s) and/or education.
