Shift: Night Shift 6:45 PM 7:15 AM (Varied Schedule)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a high-acuity surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled across a wide range of surgical procedures and demonstrate strong clinical judgment adaptability and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Prepare patients equipment and operating rooms for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons during a variety of complex cases
• Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures and respond to changes
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to infection control protocols
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams anesthesia providers and support staff
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Experience with a broad range of surgical cases including robotics neurology orthopedics plastics and gynecology
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Strong proficiency in handling complex and specialized surgical procedures
