Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-volume fast-paced trauma facility. This role involves working in a busy ED environment with a focus on managing boarder patients and supporting multiple units as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma setting
- Manage and monitor boarder patients (Med/Surg Stepdown ICU)
- Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to critical situations
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Float to other acute care units when required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility
- Strong Emergency Department experience
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Complete ED Skills Checklist
- Professional references from ED settings
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fast-paced high-volume emergency departments
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
- Flexibility to float across units
