Job Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-volume fast-paced trauma facility. This role involves working in a busy ED environment with a focus on managing boarder patients and supporting multiple units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma setting
• Manage and monitor boarder patients (Med/Surg Stepdown ICU)
• Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to critical situations
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Float to other acute care units when required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Strong Emergency Department experience
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Complete ED Skills Checklist
• Professional references from ED settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced high-volume emergency departments
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
• Flexibility to float across units
