Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $50 $53/hour (based on experience)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1875 $1987

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift (07:30 AM 04:00 PM)
• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts per week
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2-week period

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Medical Social Worker (LMSW) for a travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in care coordination and discharge planning working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and transitions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive social work services to patients in an acute care setting
• Perform discharge planning and care coordination
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Assess patient needs and connect them with appropriate resources
• Support patients and families through care transitions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

• Education: MSW required (RN may be considered based on role scope)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
• Strong experience in discharge planning and care coordination
• Preferred experience across Med-Surg ED and long length-of-stay (LLOS) cases
• Licensure: Active Washington State license required
• Certifications: BLS required
• Must be willing to float between units and work across multiple hospital campuses

• Travelers will be required to work across multiple units within close proximity campuses
• Local candidates are not eligible for this assignment
