Job Summary
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Atlanta GA 30342
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM Varies
Schedule Requirement: Must work every other weekend
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience and the ability to provide high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess treat and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy aerosol medications and ventilator management
- Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans as needed
- Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond to emergency situations including code blue and rapid response events
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC
- Current AHA certifications: BLS ACLS and PALS
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts and a variable schedule
