Description of Work
The Continuous Improvement and Data Analytics Unit Manager oversees the Continuous Improvement and Data Analytics Unit within the Immunization Branch providing leadership for statewide immunization data analysis and evidencebased decisionmaking. This position directs a multidisciplinary team responsible for data analytics compliance reporting quality improvement dashboard development and provider education that support statewide vaccination efforts.The Continuous Improvement and Data Analytics Unit Manager role manages immunization data activities that inform programs designed to increase vaccine access uptake and coverage while contributing to disease reduction initiatives. It collaborates with internal teams local health departments vaccine providers and research partners to strengthen data quality accessibility integration and preparedness for public health emergencies. The position operates within the Epidemiology Section and supports strategic priorities by advancing datadriven program planning and improving statewide immunization outcomes.
Key Duties Include:
- Lead the Continuous Improvement and Data Analytics Unit by directing daily operations managing staff and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Oversee statewide immunization data analysis to support evidencebased decisionmaking and inform public health program strategies.
- Manage the development and maintenance of dashboards reports and visualizations that monitor vaccination coverage performance metrics and program compliance.
- Coordinate data governance activities to strengthen data quality accessibility and integration across internal and external partners.
- Support grantrelated requirements by overseeing data reporting performance monitoring and documentation of program activities.
- Provide technical guidance to staff and partners on data interpretation surveillance findings and policy or program recommendations.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives that support increased vaccine access uptake and equitable coverage.
- Collaborate with local health departments vaccine providers internal DHHS teams and research partners to enhance datadriven public health practice.
- Maintain readiness for vaccinepreventable disease outbreak response through timely data surveillance reporting and communication.
- Promote continuous staff development and mentorship to strengthen epidemiologic analytical and program management capacity.

Salary Range: $71698.00 - $118304.00
Recruitment Range: $71698.00 - $101771.00

Demonstrated experience conducting complex public health data analysis with expertlevel proficiency interpreting epidemiologic and statistical findings to inform program or policy decisions.
Proven skill managing epidemiologic or immunization data systems including using analytical tools and data visualization platforms to track vaccination coverage and program performance.
Demonstrated success supervising multidisciplinary teams by directing workload monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion of program deliverables.
Advanced proficiency developing and implementing datadriven quality improvement strategies including designing metrics evaluating outcomes and supporting continuous program enhancement.
Strong experience collaborating with internal teams local health departments vaccine providers and external partners to improve data quality data integration and shared understanding of public health trends.
