Overlake Medical Center and Clinics iscurrently seeking Patient Care Technicians (CNA)for our Perioperative Care Unit. This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic Gynecology/Oncology Bariatric Orthopedics Urology Podiatry Vascular and General Surgery. The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care to patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

0.75 FTE /30 hours per week

10 hour evening shift / Schedule TBD

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required

• High school graduate or equivalent required.

• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience.

• 1 year working in a hospital environment as a CNA strongly preferred.

• Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) also required (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure upon hire)

• Health Care Provider CPR Certification required.

• One year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred.

• Excellent customer service oral and written communication skills.
