Key Responsibilities

Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities including showering bathing dressing and grooming while maintaining their dignity.
Transferring & Mobility: Safely help clients move around their homes including transferring from beds or chairs.
Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on client dietary needs.
Light Housekeeping: Keep the home environment clean and safe (laundry vacuuming dishes).
Companionship: Provide emotional support and a friendly face for our clients.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in personal care transferring and meal prep is required.
Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a patient professional demeanor.
Reliability: Consistent attendance and a valid drivers license with reliable transportation.
Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard Illinois Caregiver Background Check.
Training: Completion of or willingness to complete state-mandated caregiver training (8-12 hours annually).
