Note: Must have a Professional Engineer license and at least 4 years of post-graduate civil engineering experience. This role is not open to remote candidates.

Job Description

• Lead civil engineering work across land development and infrastructure projects from concept through completion
• Prepare review and approve construction documents specifications permit applications shop drawings and submittals
• Design and coordinate subdivision improvements storm sewer sanitary sewer water systems grading erosion control paving and stormwater solutions
• Prepare land use applications and help navigate local jurisdictional requirements and permitting processes
• Manage project budgets schedules and day-to-day coordination to keep projects moving efficiently
• Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality buildable designs
• Support client-facing activities including proposals interviews and business development efforts
• Maintain strong technical quality clear documentation and responsive communication throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• 4 years of civil engineering experience after graduation
• PE license required
• Strong experience with land development and civil site design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong knowledge of grading drainage utilities and permitting
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Organized self-directed and able to manage multiple priorities
• Montana experience or Montana licensure preferred
• Bluebeam and landscape rendering knowledge helpful
