Location: This is a full-time on-site position in the Financial District of Manhattan offering the opportunity to work closely with a strong in-office litigation team in one of New York Citys premier legal markets.

Note: Must have 3 years of personal injury attorney experience and be admitted in New York. We are especially interested in attorneys with roughly 38 years of experience.

Job Description

• Handle plaintiff-side personal injury matters from active litigation through resolution
• Draft pleadings motions discovery demands and responses and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear in court and participate in conferences hearings and motion practice
• Develop case strategy evaluate liability and damages and help drive matters toward strong outcomes
• Work closely with clients experts medical providers and internal team members throughout the life of the case
• Prepare cases for trial and support trial strategy as needed
• Manage a caseload with appropriate urgency organization and client communication

Qualifications

• 3 years of personal injury attorney experience
• Admitted to practice in New York
• Strong litigation skills including drafting depositions and court appearances
• Ability to manage files independently while collaborating with a team
• Strong written verbal and client communication skills
• Trial preparation experience is a plus
• Spanish language skills are a plus
