Associate Attorney
Role Overview
Seeking a litigation attorney with 2 years of civil litigation experience to support a practice focused on property subrogation and complex fire-loss litigation across the western United States. Candidates with backgrounds in product defect construction defect premises liability insurance or general liability matters are encouraged to apply. Plaintiff-side experience is not required and attorneys from an insurance defense background are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation matters related to property subrogation and fire-loss cases.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings motions and case strategies.
- Work with experts and technical evidence in complex litigation matters.
- Participate in depositions hearings and courtroom proceedings.
- Manage multiple cases while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 2 years of civil litigation experience.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in at least one western U.S. jurisdiction (AZ CA preferred NV WA OR CO UT or NM).
- Strong legal writing analytical and advocacy skills.
- Experience with expert-driven cases and technical evidence is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple cases with minimal supervision.
