What You Bring to the Table:

We are seeking a certified Physician Assistant with 1-3 years of clinical experience ideally in ophthalmology optometry or a related surgical/medical specialty strong clinical assessment skills and a passion for eye care. You will work closely with the ophthalmologist to provide high-quality patient care perform diagnostic evaluations assist in minor procedures manage follow-up visits and contribute to efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced patient-centered practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories ocular examinations and diagnostic testing (including visual acuity tonometry slit-lamp exams fundus photography and OCT interpretation under physician supervision)
• Diagnose and manage common ophthalmic conditions prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising ophthalmologist
• Assist in minor in-office procedures (e.g. laser treatments intravitreal injections foreign body removal and eyelid lesion excisions)
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for cataract glaucoma retina and refractive surgery patients including education wound checks and medication management
• Manage follow-up visits triage urgent patient concerns and coordinate referrals to subspecialists when needed
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records ensure compliance with clinical protocols HIPAA and quality standards and contribute to practice efficiency and patient satisfaction
