What Youll Do

As a Workers Compensation Defense Attorney you will represent employers insurance carriers and TPAs in all stages of litigation. You will manage a full caseload within a highly efficient paperless workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients at WCAB hearings conferences and trials throughout California.

• Conduct and defend depositions (Applicants PQMEs and AMEs).

• Draft complex pleadings motions and settlement agreements (C&Rs Stips).

• Provide strategic legal advice to claims adjusters and insured clients.

• Collaborate with dedicated legal assistants to drive claims toward favorable resolution.

What Were Looking For

• Experience: 210 years of dedicated California Workers Compensation defense experience.

• Credentials: Juris Doctor (JD) and an active member in good standing with the California State Bar.

• Skills: Proven track record of appearing before the WCAB and managing a high-volume caseload.

• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with dictation software and paperless case management systems.

• Bonus: First or second chair trial experience and significant doctor deposition experience.
