Material Handler/Water Spider needs 2 years experience

Duties:
Performs data input via our standard computer related to inventory management systems on all finished goods production tickets and incoming component receipts and tool crib receipts.
Troubleshoots and analyzes problems related to the receipts process. The receipt process may include manual data entry and/or automated entry using bar code scanning or EDI. Manual or scale counting may be required.
Performs checks on all incoming products to verify paperwork and material match properly.
Unpacks incoming component material for scanning and re-label.
Loads/unloads trucks takes hot parts to the floor takes parts to Building B and vice versa.
Performs accurate inventory (scans) verifies freight receives parts into SAP puts away stock.
Performs rack audits tracks parts assists with receipt issues.
Assists Water spiders and Material Handlers as needed.
Assists with cleanup of cardboard trash.
Uses forklift to move material to the appropriate location.
Participates in training as required.
Ensures 6S Housekeeping and Health & Safety Standards are maintained.
Complies with policies and procedures pertaining to facility or divisional adopted standards as TS 16949 or ISO 14001.
Utilizes the concept of continuous improvement and cost reduction in the execution of the job function.
Files all paperwork by supplier related to the receiving process.
Handles customer returns paperwork and production inventory reversals.
