- Oversee financial operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and association accounting activities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting packets including budgeting and forecasting
- Reconcile bank accounts investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding items
- Manage month-end processes including billing and account transfers for associations
- Supervise mentor and support a team of staff accountants to ensure accuracy and productivity
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial operations
- Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Several years of progressive accounting experience with prior supervisory or senior accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage priorities meet deadlines and lead in a fast-paced environment
